Last night was the quietest since Friday. There were no sirens here in Jerusalem—but across the country the threat didn’t stop.

Behind every number we’ve shared is a real person. Like Diana* and her 13-year-old son, Pavel*, from Bat Yam.

When the sirens went off, they headed to the bomb shelter, just like they had done several times already. Diana went in first, Pavel followed and shut the door. Seconds later, a missile hit.

The blast knocked them both down. Their entire apartment was destroyed. No belongings withstood the explosion—they made it out just with the clothes they were wearing.

Right now, there are over 2,000 people like Diana and Pavel across Israel—survivors of life-shattering attacks, left with nothing. And that number is growing.

We’re working with local believers to meet them right where they are—at impact sites, in temporary shelters, and in hotels—delivering Emergency Care Kits filled with essentials: hygiene supplies, phone chargers, a portable radio, a Book of Psalms, and more.

As Iran regrouped from the strike, dubbed Operation Rising Lion, its response began. Across Friday and Saturday night, hundreds of drones and ballistic missiles were launched toward targets across Israel.

Even with Israel’s air defenses intercepting about 90–95 percent of everything Iran fired, five percent of hundreds of missiles is still devastating. Those that slipped through have taken a heavy toll. As of this writing, 22 missiles have struck—unintercepted—in major cities like Tel Aviv, Rehovot, and Bat Yam.

At least 13 people, including children, have been killed, and hundreds more have been injured. The attacks have affected everyone, not just Israelis—four of the victims were Arabs from the village of Tamra, hit last night.

But even in the midst of this, local believers are already on the ground—listening, assessing, and asking the Lord how they can be the hands and feet of Jesus in this moment. And our team is doing the same—discerning how we can best support our local partners here on the ground as needs continue to unfold.

In the early hours of this morning—just before 3:00 a.m.—Israel launched a surprise, preemptive strike on Iranian nuclear and military infrastructure. This historic operation, conducted in coordination with the United States, came after clear intelligence revealed Iran was mere days away from nuclear weapon capability.

The name of the mission: “Rise Up As a Lion,” drawn from Numbers 23:24: “The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till it devours its prey.” In a powerful act of intercession, Prime Minister Netanyahu went to the Western Wall and placed this very verse in a written prayer, asking God to go before the nation.
